Teaching Models<\/h1>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

You can participate in the education at the SMUL Academy in three different ways: through distance learning, which consists of self-study lessons completed at home with parental guidance; through remote learning, which consists of teacher-led lessons with a class via Zoom; or through private tutoring. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Remote Learning<\/h2>\n

Teacher-led remote instruction in a small class setting
<\/strong>
Remote learning is teacher-led online instruction in a small class (5\u20138 students) via Zoom, following the SMUL Academy's academic calendar. The instruction includes 30 lessons per academic year and is led by a qualified and dedicated teacher. Students are given the opportunity to develop their language skills in a social context, discuss current themes related to Sweden, and meet classmates with Swedish connections from all over the world. The small group size provides excellent conditions for both learning and community. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Distance Learning<\/h2>\n

Self-study with parental guidance
\n<\/strong>Distance learning is based on 30 self-study lessons where the student works at home with assignments and teaching materials, taking approximately 60 minutes per week. The assignments are planned by a qualified teacher and follow a clear assignment schedule.
\nThis form of teaching suits families who want greater flexibility in their schedule or who wish to be more involved in the student's learning, as the work is carried out at home with the support of a parent. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Private Tutoring<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Instruction based on your needs<\/strong> Private tutoring is individual instruction adapted to the student's needs\u2014for example, if regular teaching times do not suit or if the student needs extra focus to develop their skills more quickly. The student follows the regular course curriculum with some room for adaptation, combining the security of the syllabus with individual progression. For special requirements, the SMUL Academy administrator can assist in finding suitable times and teachers. You register for private tutoring using the standard registration form, where you indicate that it concerns private instruction. Our school administrator, Louise Sverud, will then contact you to discuss scheduling options, pricing, and the choice of teacher for your child. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

These prices apply if the student is enrolled in one of our regular courses in supplementary Swedish or Swedish for beginners.<\/p>\n
