Academic Counseling
It can sometimes be difficult to find the right course among our offerings at SMUL Academy. We therefore offer free counseling with our school administrator Louise Sverud.
Parents often wonder:
- What is the difference between Basic Course A and B?
- What does it mean to crack the reading code?
- My teenager is good at speaking and understanding but cannot read or write in Swedish. Which course is suitable then?
- We only speak Swedish sometimes, what type of course should my child take? Complementary Swedish, intermediate Swedish, or beginner Swedish?
- My child is shy and we do not know if they will dare to participate in online instruction with the teacher. What do we do then?
- How much time does it take each week?
- We are struggling financially right now and cannot afford your courses. Can our family receive financial assistance so that my child can take a course during the next academic year?

She has raised two multilingual children, run a school for complementary Swedish abroad, and also taught herself. She will advise you on suitable courses and teaching models to help you find the right fit in our offerings.
